The Sony Burano features an 8.6K, full-frame sensor with in-body image stabilization. With built-in variable ND filters and autofocus capabilities all packed into a sensor with up to 16 stops of dynamic range, the Burano is a wonderful choice for docs and narrative shoots alike.

Using the full 8.6K sensor, the Burano can shoot up to 29.97fps in both XOCN-LT and XAVC H-I. In 6K, the camera can shoot at up to 59.94fps and 120fps in 4K.

The Burano is an incredibly capable, yet compact, addition to Sony’s cinema lineup. The body weighs just over 5 pounds without a cage and is only slightly larger than the FX6. The camera also has both E and PL mounting options.
